May 2009 Flowers

The heat in May was very severe. The town experienced no rains from September 2008 and the temperature sore to 40+ degree Celcius almost everyday- quite often it was 45. Niyati's shrubs started getting burnt despite being watered twice. The only saving grace was some rains towards the end of the month and here are some flowers.

    Very wide collections. I have seen them almost all by direct post in yahoo. ai was very fond of the morning glory, which florished from a single seed given by Niyati to many generations of flowering till we went to BURDWAN. HERE AT MIDNAPOUR, THE SEEDS FAILED TO GERMINATE.- Bibhuti
